Rick was a favorite friend both in high school and college.  To Rick, take care my friend and travel softly in your new adventure.  I will remember you always.

Rick's passing brings home the reality of where the class of 1965 is now and how little time we have left.  Make the best of your time my friends!!

Rick and I have been great friends for the better part of 70 years.  His mother and my mother were friends and through Lincoln Heights Elementary, Jr. High, High School, Junior College and the years beyond, we have always stayed in contact.  His wife, Margaret and  my wife, Kim have always had a connection and when our son, Hubert was born in Colorado Springs, his first night out of the hospital was when Rick and Margaret welcomed us into their home.  For the past year or so, I never knew when my phone would ring and he would just want to visit and I reciprocated with frequent calls.  We last met about 2 months ago, when Kim, Hubert and I got to meet him for a visit.  He was a very successful professional in his business, a great father, a loving grandfather and a great friend.  I will miss him greatly.
