Dean Allen Craghead, 66, of Garner, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday morning, November 6, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Dean was born April 24, 1947 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Loren and Berniece Craghead.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 wonderful years, Faye (Hoover) Craghead; a son, Kevin Craghead and wife Nicole; granddaughter, Kati Craghead; brother, Jerry Craghead and wife, Alice, and their son, Brad and his family.

At the age of 19, Dean was employed by North Electric.  He worked with this company for the next 40 plus years as it progressed into ITT Telecomm and then on to Alcatel Network Systems.  At the time of his retirement, he was the Director of Sales for the Bell Atlantic Division.
