Paul M. Kawaguchi, 70, of Mitchell died at his home on Friday, June 1. Services were held Wednesday June 6th, 2018 with graveside service at Mitchell Valley Cemetery.

Paul was born June 20, 1947 at Scottsbluff to Tom and Shigeko (Yoshimi) Kawaguchi. He attended Roosevelt Grade School and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1965.  Later he attended automotive school and returned to the Scottsbluff area where he farmed for several years before working at Simplot.  After he retired he worked at Kurt Manufacturing Company in Lyman and most recently at Menard's.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and being with family.

Paul is survived by his brothers, Fred (Tomoko) Kawaguchi of Japan, Richard (Debbie Dixon) Kawaguchi of Fort Collins, CO, and Dana (Jo Ann) Kawaguchi of Scottsbluff, nieces, nephews, and several extended family members.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alan.
