Albert C. Montanez Jr., 65, died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011

Albert was employed at United Parcel Service. He was a member of Blessed

Sacrament Catholic Church and usher at Blessed Sacrament. He was a member

of the Elks Lodge in Sidney and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1965.

Survivors include his wife, Sally Montanez; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and

Tonya Montanez, Lincoln, grandchildren, Trey, Madison, McKenna Montanez;

daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and William "Pete" Peterson, Lincoln,

grandchildren, Trevor, Carley, Haley Peterson, Lincoln; daughter and son-in-law,

Cindy and Merlin Hammond, Lincoln, grandchildren, Trenton, Meghan

Hammond, Lincoln; sisters and brothers-in-law, Delores and Lupe Gonzalas,

Scottsbluff, Petra and Gilbert Magdeleno, Scottsbluff, Connie and Sam Resendiz,

Scottsbluff; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Jenny Montanez, Minatare;

brother, Gabino Montanez, Scottsbluff and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Albert in death was his mother, Carmen Parks and father, Albert

Montanez Sr.
