Jane Peshek (Weise) VIEW PROFILE

 

Jane Teresa Peshek Weise, 68, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at Brendan House in Kalispell, Montana from complications from breast cancer.

She was born in Grand Island, Nebraska. She accomplished degrees in math, physics and computer science from Chadron State, Nebraska. She was a computer analyst for the Navy Logistics Command in Norfolk, Virginia, where she met and married the love of her life, Lt. Col. David Weise, U.S. Army. For the next 21 years she was the ideal Army wife, making homes and doing community work in foreign countries and five states, and rearing two children, son Eric and daughter Jacki. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield in Utah as a senior computer analyst.

Her avocations were ceramics and, upon moving to Montana in 2005, she joined the Artists and Craftsmen of the Flathead and did volunteer work in the Kalispell Library.

She is survived by her husband, David; son, Eric, and wife Heather, and grandchildren, Kora and Kila; daughter, Jacki Kovnesky, and husband Jared; and her sisters, Kay Gishpert and husband John, and Mary Nance.

Kathleen Marquez (Dickson)

I met Jane when I enrolled at St. Agnes School for 7th grade.  Her warm welcome set me as ease in a class of strangers.  I will always remember her sense of compassion, intelligence, and dry humor.  I am happy she graced my life with her presence.

I remember playing after school with jane. I'm glad to know she had a full and happy life! thank you for sharing this with us, kathy.
