Dwight “Butch” Schoonover, Jr.

Dwight Schoonover, Jr. passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO. Dwight was born in Scottsbluff, NE on September 23, 1945. He attended Roosevelt Grade School and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1965, thereafter joining the Army. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, and served his country bravely. Dwight married Terry Lynn Dolberg in 1966. He enjoyed the simple things in life and spent his time with his family and doing woodworking. Dwight is survived by his children Micheal (Anna) of Loveland, CO, Dawn Schoonover of Idaho, Dwight Schoonover III of Gering, NE and Terry Schoonover of Scottsbluff, NE. He is also survived by his sister Arlene Green of Gering, NE and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff.
