Benjamin Wiedeman VIEW PROFILE

Benjamin A. Wiedeman, 59, of Scottsbluff, died Monday, June 13, 2005, at Regional West Medical Center.

Benjamin was born May 18, 1946, in Scottsbluff to Benjamin and Charlotte (Wagner) Wiedeman where he grew up and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1965.

He married Janice Kay Curran on Feb. 24, 1973, in Morrill. They resided in Gering for 31 years where he worked as a contractor in the area.  He was a member of the Civil Air Defense in 1966, and was a past Governor and Trustee of the Moose Lodge. He was an avid fisherman, and loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Survivors include wife Janice Wiedeman of Scottsbluff; sons and daughters-in-law, Benjamin Lloyd Wiedeman Sr. of Aurora, Colo. and Robert Henry and Jenny Wiedeman of Rapid City, S.D.; grandchildren, Jonathon Klinetobe, Ashley Klinetobe, Jessica Wiedeman, and Benjamin Lloyd Wiedeman Jr.; and sister Glenda Krause of Lingle, Wyo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and several aunts and cousins.
