Kathryn Ann Settles Kindl

August 14, 1947 – June 15, 2023

Kathryn Ann Kindl, 75, of Iowa City, IA, passed away Friday, June 15, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.  Per her request no services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice.

Kathryn was born to Delmar and Alice (Pedersen) Settles on August 14, 1947, in Scottsbluff, NE.

Kathryn married Richard Kindl in 1985, and they had one child, Carisa.  Kathryn was a bookkeeper for Lenoch and Cilek ACE Hardware in Iowa City for 39 years.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Carisa (Neil) Sullivan; grandchildren, Gilbert Ullrich, Kelsey Wixom, Fredderick Wixom, and Abigail Wixom; great-grandchild, Jackson Wixom; and brothers, Bryan (Sherry) Settles and Allen Settles.
