Since 1991 I taught in Lutheran schools in SoCal. Post-2009 recession, I did a stint working at Disneyland. In October 2016, we moved to the Houston, TX area to be close to our son and his family. I am now teaching in a University Model school in Sugar Land. This provides family time and the opportunity to travel. I am looking forward to the 40th reunion next year and will pay as soon as I remember my PayPal password.
I cringe to remember the 1977 April Fools' Day issue of the school newspaper that almost got me expelled. I still can't believe we talked the librarians into pretending with us that a full-service bar was located in the library or that we photographed Ira Besserman murdered by a paper cutter. How times have changed. My last school had that exact same paper cutter, and I often smiled at it with nostalgia.
