Robert, I realize that you are fully in touch with yourself!

I went to the Legend City site! Great memories there. I forgot about Dolan Ellis. When I was in high school I worked as a hostess at the Tuba City Truckstop and Country Club in old town Scottsdale. Dolan used to play there and was a frequent diner.

Oh Oops - Dolan Ellis owned the Tuba City Truck Stop and Country Club, maybe that's why he was there every night!

Cayce, Who died and made you "voucher babe"......your loonier...than both of us..."combined".

As for you Mr. Holland.....my "reality" never stops!
If yours does? I would file for some means of "intellectual property" rights. Share it with the world.

I'm glad that you are enjoying my "fantasy, reality and imagination...as if it's a ride at Legend City!

:)

Robert,

I just think you don't want anyone stealing the show from you!

Mimi
I was only at Mohave in the 8th grade. Before that I was a disfunctional trouble making kid at Navijo. Unil I was asked to leave. Cydana rode the bus home with me and we have been freinds ever since. Good freind are hard to find and she is a good one.

Kim,

So, you think this is all about "myself"....and my "need' to entertain you!

"My show....my show......give me back my show!"

I'm just trying to have a conversation.

Kim, do you remember me as someone that had to be the center of attention? If so please share this memory with us.

You know, it's interesting to me how some people can share some newly discovered knowledge or something that has "enlightened" them over the last "30 years" of life on this awesome planet. And the feed back they receive........."is that they misspelled the word...."ofcourse".

Wallace & Ladmo were fun, Legend City..."super".

Has any one learned anything new in the last 30 years. And if so......"the Show is all yours".

Bernina, after speaking to you for the first time on the phone last night (for 3 hours). Hillbilly to Hillbilly....If you want to "take over the show" I think you can do it with one goat tied behind your back.

Robert,

I was just having fun with you. I find you a little odd, but oddly entertaining.

I do remember you from earlier days. You used to ask me about what we were going to do to stop being so skinny, but I think your sister had both of us beat on that one. I had no problem putting on pounds over the years and taking them off more than a few times. If only I had been smart enough to stay as healthy and fit as I was back then.

I don't exactly remember you being the quiet one, but I would imagine if I saw you now you would be rather loud!?Is that correct? I can be loud to, just ask my kids!

03/29/09 02:05 PM #392

Robert Lacivita

Kim,
Thank God, I knew that you couldn't have changed that much. You hit the nail right on the head....I'm well aware of the "fact" that I am odd! I am very different from the norm....it has been my blessing.(left & right handed)

My "oddity" also trickles down into my "humor"....if my humor....mutates in to what others see as "enjoyable entertainment"....fantastic!

I'm not trying to steal any ones show....I'm just sharing my life, as others are also. If my life seems a bit odd..."nothing I can do about that".

Because of what i have decided to do with my life....I find my self surrounded by individuals that I deem as "odd"....(inventors, artist, writers and the like)... some are very odd. Take Shane Hamilton for example. Shane is almost 50.....9 out of 10 people find it odd, that Shane (every weekend) is out riding motocross, amongst children......and I hang with him!

We are very odd. But I can see what the norm is out there, and honestly, I don't want any part of it.

For those that know me, personally, and have given up trying to figure me out. They will only have good things to say about me. I'm a "giver not a taker".

For those that "think" they know me, please don't take offense, if in deed you are offended by me. It is not my goal....

I'm here for "entertainment purposes only"...oddly enough.

If you want to sit in the front row...you know what can happen. :)

Peace to all!

Mimi,
Bernina made all that shit up! All the "bullshitters" went to Kiva. Shane is the exception.

03/29/09 03:17 PM #394

Robert Lacivita

Mimi, I'm Picking Shane up for lunch..don't think you wanna be there.

Obviously, I know what Bernina has shared is true, and because she is on "meds"....I'm sure that she appreciates that you look down on those that are on them...but at the same time, you get more out of her writting skills, rather than her story.

Kim Calhoun (Carson)

God Bless you Robert! Yes, we are all odd in our own unique ways, which is what makes us individuals. I would never claim to be normal by anyone's standards. Should I only be so lucky to live the boring and unusual "normal" existence! I think we have all had our share of the good, bad and indifferent stories of our past.

I'm just sorry to see that this message forum is taking on a form other than a lighthearted retelling of school memories.

My thoughts exactly so for those recent profilers who might have missed my earlier post, check out my video at

if you really want to revisit those carefree days when a "full" schedule meant 20 hours of class a week assuming you actually bothered to attend!

Robert, I haven't been able to log on since yesterday morning and oh my god has a lot talk been going on. They all need to calm down and have fun, isn't that what life's all about. I wanna know how Kelly M was mean to you at Kiva when he went to Pueblo with me??

03/29/09 06:26 PM #398

Tracie Means (Brown)

Bernina has a book in her and I already told her so. I feel fortunate that we shared e-mail conversations a few weeks ago, when I commented that I remembered fondly the float building parties at her parents’ home, which seemed to me to be a ‘secret garden’ within the heart of Scottsdale. As we now know, there were SECRETS alright. Abuse secrets are best out in the open or how will we all learn to observe more carefully and protect children at all times! I find stories of overcoming trauma of child molestation and more, fascinating and enlightening if not lighthearted.

On grateful note, thanks Jeff Hoganson for posting to YouTube your footage from a typical Saguaro school day. I hope you have and post more! Were the Extravaganza’s recorded by anyone?

Hey Robert...I talked to my mom and dad and they both totally remember you! When I mentioned your name, both my parents were happy to know you are doing well and succeding in life! My mom said she remembers you mostly because you made her laugh, and that you were very nice 'young man'. I remember you being so funny that you could brighten up anyones day! You did mine on many times, And you look fabulous

Susan,
Sweet girl, nothing is wrong here at forum central, no worries (if your a Christian in South Africa, with two good arms? Then I'd be worried)

All is good and full of light. I will tell you what my friend at Saguaro (Kelly M.) did to me at Kiva (may have been Saguaro Fresh. year. That's not the point) prior to our friendship. (you might want to sit down)

When I was 13, I was collecting "NFL Licensed Pencils" I had just gotten the one that would complete my set. I accidentally dropped one and it rolled over by Kelly. (I'm sure that he is going to hell for this) I asked him to hand it to me...instead he stepped on it and broke it.

That's a memory I remember...and I thought that it was mean. Nothing more, nothing less. Please don't think that this memory has been haunting me for years. When someone mentioned Kelly, my mind pulled that up. I was a lot meaner to a lot more people.

The forum has no rules....it's about who we were and who we are today. it's all good!

Cathy, The Lord always provides a "witness" to those who love him. For those of you that don't know me, but find me lacking of character, help your self to what Cathy's parent's remember about me. (and I've only meet them once, maybe twice....30 years ago)

Bernina,,,,,
The Indian name that I give you is "Sweet Baby Girl That Shoots Real Bullets". We will chat and be friends for
some time to come.

Hey Tracie, coincidentally, several weeks back, I had mentioned to Bernina, that I have written a book and want her to be the "ghost writer and editor. You have a fine eye for talent.

Robert & Bernie,
I'll be buying you to the first drinks at the reunion.

Thanks for asking Bernina. Recovery is giving me a lot of time at this site...which may not last much longer since I'm starting to feel better than I have in a couple years. I'm a fair weather kayaker. Heartier souls than me kayak during winter! We have 2 seasons up here, winter and summer, and summer is pretty much May - Sept (really June-August)and that is in the southern part of the State where we live in coastal Homer. I think I can throw the Frisbee for Sasha this week and that probably means clear for all activity. Life is good. For a look at Alaska surfing nuts, check this out:

I remember B.B. Singers where I waitressed when I was 19. They had the best fried appetizers with some kind of garlic sour cream or cream cheese or both. I didn't work there long enough to talk anyone out of the recipe, darn! It seemed very unfair to me that they charged me for people who ditched out on their bill and that happened to me at least once. I always liked Serendipity too, wasn't it owned by Alice Cooper's mom?

Hey you didn't invite me to lunch today??

Thanks Shane, and now I live in a town that many refer to as a hippie town! At least it used to be but now it still has a lot of artists and more. There is a saying about Homer that sells a lot of bumper stickers:
A quaint drinking village with a fishing problem.

A friend of ours also made this bumper sticker that appeals to my twisted sense of humor:
Homer, Alaska
We're here because we're not all there

And it is purple, my favorite color. I may have to take a photo of the copy I have in my kitchen and post it to my profile page.

Shane, Different places around Alaska make the news quite often, like right now erupting Mt. Redoubt approximately 100 miles from us.

As far as shows I liked that were set in Alaska towns, Northern Exposure was fictional Cicely Alaska. And Men in Trees was fictional Elmo Alaska. I thought they did a pretty good Hollywood job of showing Alaska though they hardly filmed any of the footage in AK. My husband is a life long Alaskan and he found much to snicker at in the shows. His pet peeve is also the way national news frequently shows Alaska in their weather reports as located off the southern California coast along with Hawaii. When he was in Texas one time on an oilfield job, he actually met a roughneck there who thought Alaska was an island. I'm a little more understanding as my world geography from memory is very limited and have to look places up all the time. Of course I know some about AK but it is SO big that I have only visited a fraction of Alaska myself. I need family and friends to visit to have an excuse to travel and see more!
