Mimi,
I remember playing four-square everyday on the playground and also volleyball. I had a crush on Dave Fahlgren and then we were "going out" which meant playing volleyball together and that was about it. The he dumped me for Caroline. Still mad at her about that....

Also, i think it's kind of mean of you to throw that whole Ladmo Bag thing in my face when really you should have been sharing it.

Hi..."Suezzie...Jacuzzi!!

Kelly the "Mystro"....Kelly was also mean to me in 8th grade...I didn't make love to him later in life, but we did share some very good...."deep conversations"...over a beer at Saguaro. I would even consider him a friend. My hope is that the feeling is mutual.(smart dude)
As for "Zolin". I never told any one this before (no doubt)..."I thought Myles was a "Tom Girl". The first day of math class (Tate. Remember Kim...he would push that damn chair....or podium....across the floor, to wake us up...or snap the ruler. He woke me up a lot) I was checking out the girls. I saw Kim first..."nice". But who's that with that "gorgeous hair". Class ended and Myles and his "Adams Apple"..left the class.

Word: "I'm not Gay....Please don't call".

I've been absent from the forum for weeks since my thyroid cancer diagnosis and surgery I feel much better now. I am really enjoying reading all the posts! I apologize I am off topic and jumping in randomly. I moved to Scottsdale from Spokane Washington the summer before 8th grade. I remember getting off the plane at Sky Harbor around August 15th 1974 and walking the tarmac since this was before air conditioned bridges met planes… The heat about bowled me over and I thought there will be a breeze any minute before I pass out from heat exposure. Sure enough there was a “breeze” which was like a hotter blast from a furnace. 8th grade at Mohave was memorable and culture shock at the same time. I remember being surprised that the school hot lunch program served peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches. I remember Mike Tankersly as a good guy to help a gal fit in and am also glad so many of us turned out well as adults. In 8th grade, I think Mrs. Begalman hated me and always wondered if it was because she learned I called her Mrs. Begalbutt. I guess my 8th grade memories are burned into my brain more than all of high school, though reading all the messages is reminding me of much. FUN to reminisce!

THANKS for sharing your good outcome after thyroid cancer! I just looked up your photo in my yearbook and I remember you. Do you remember Cydana Hughes? Her family lived at the Pima golf course since her Dad was the head groundskeeper.

Anyone remember the Begalman's making the news while we were in high school for their involvement in a large scale sex sting . . . no pun intended.

03/28/09 05:50 PM #368

Tracie Means (Brown)

Hi Doug, NO I don't remember that about the Begalmans' but how wild is that?! I just spent time on your page and appreciate the old photos, good job!

03/28/09 05:53 PM #369

Doug Holland

Thanks Tracy! I'm to Scottsdale next weekend and getting some of my old stuff out of a rental attic. I'm sure Mimi remembers, it was a weird enough situation that it surely left an impression with someone else. . .HAMILTON, where are you when we need help on the odd and bizarre?

Yeah, it's a riot!!! I thought it was so much bigger but in fact it was just a mini-mini-disneyland.

My Darling Mimi,
I had to look at your profile. You claim that you don't know me. I will agree in total. I can not place your face as well. I knew the Jocks,Valley Girls,Mexican Gangsters (shout out to the Swan's) the low key "brainiac's,(yo Chipper), tightly wound intellects (you know who you are),the Burn Outs,Band Members,Cowboy's,Skaters, and Drama Dudes and many others with out a click. For the life of me I can't place your face.Because of your love of "puzzles"...you have sort of "called me out". (so to speak)

Please sit down and remove your hats please...."Judge Robert" has entered the court.

Admitting that I am no one's Judge, I do understand that you "love puzzles. (you crazy puzzle person you)

And,to be clear, that in "all good fun"...you have basically "called me out".(so to speak) All do to the "fact' that you "love puzzles....your interested in knowing if I'm behind a "conspiracy". (so to speak)

My conclusion immediately was, "maybe living" in The No.1 (alleged)UFO Sightings Position the U.S. (and also home to many "beam me up Scotties) has effected possibly, your trust in others.

As for myself, in general, "what other are thinking about me"....is the least of my business. But i will make an exception in this case. (the spirit of things)

Just so that you know me a bit better, I will tell you that I'm not a "puzzle person". Nothing puzzles me. (even on a bad day)

I hope that your not too let down, but there is no puzzle here. All of what i claim is true, with the exception of Sonia. Sonia is a friend. I have admitted this to all that have had questions about her. (see Lisa Stevens)

As far as flying the jet, I do not have a licence..."yet". Flying with out such licence, is a Federal Crime. I will tell you that if you and I were in such a jet...I would have a much greater chance of landing her than you. ( I suspect)

I do agree with you "the ocean she is a blue". I can assure you that those that cruz the beaches in my pics...find it very difficult to even drive on the same street, less they get drunk and some how wonder passed security, finding such a primo place to throw up.

As for the big boats, the only way you get down to the dock at the Marriott...is by coded credit card. First to get in and park and second to get by the dock gates. (coincidentally I have these cards in my wallet)

Do you recall the tune "Once in a life time"...by the "Talking Heads". It goes.."you might find your self in a shot gun shack....you might find your self in a beautiful house with a beautiful wife...and wonder...well, how did I get here?"

I know very well how i got where I am...and the "Glory is the Lords".

The Puzzle you really are inquiring about is.."how did i get here?"

Does it matter if I'm flying the Jet? Not to me...I Know that I'm sitting in the front seat...that's amazing to me.
I'm fortunate to be at the beach...in the front row!
That's amazing to me!

I've been on inner tubes on the "Salt". Now I spend time on huge ships.....I am truely blessed to have experienced both. That's how I'm able to marvel at the difference.

As for the "prison thing"....I am not at all ashamed (who on this earth can shame me) to tell you that it's a matter of public record, and if you try,you will find my brown eyes are very much a matter of public record. If you have "really long arms" you will find that I have also been down town at the Secret Service, several times, by their request of course. Oh and i might as well tell you that I once took a shot gun into a bar, after some jack ass hit me with the fat side of a pool stick on the side of my head (broke it in half).

So refreshing to come clean!!!!

Lastly, I want to put this to bed. The cute little girl in the first pic in my profile....is really my niece "Kaylee".....does she look uncomfortable in my arms? Looks pretty happy to me.
She not just some kid I grabbed in the bar. :)

One other thing....Kelly M. was never mean to "you".
Please don't try to tell me if he was mean to me or not.
Don't be a fool.

I did check out the Legend City site... old memories. Yes Doug, Beagelman did get busted for some sex issue. I think they were running an "escort service" our of their home

Kim Calhoun (Carson)

It wasn't the BAGELmans, but the BEGALmans! I remember the name, but not them in particular. I guess they weren't important enough to me.

I might be repeating myself, or maybe just my thoughts over the past week. But how many of you remember the Round Up?

03/28/09 09:39 PM #375

Nancy Bull

Hi Doug...the Beagleman thing was more about wife swaping...like throw your keys in the basket type stuff. My little sister went to school with their son....Neal.

Hey Cathy Blumling....Nice to see a picture of your brother Jim. I would be willing to bet that he has never been arrested before. Except for the one time he was in the P.V. slammer...with myself Chas Delaney and Mark Polite. Please tell him hello!

Tracy Powers

I speak with Cydana at least once a month.

I forgot what happened to the old cowboy. I just remember the day they took him down. I remember cramming in the trunk of a car across the street from the Roundup in the mobile home park and then driving into the drive-in but not being able to get out of the trunk until it was dark so that we would not get caught. I think we thought we were going to die! Especially considering how hot it got in there...

03/28/09 10:46 PM #379

Robert Lacivita

Mimi,
I did not call you a fool. I suggested very politely..that you not be one.

As for a memory that belongs to me personally, pertaining to Kelly. We were in the eighth grade. What happened between the two of us...is and was not a "dream". You suggest that I choose to be the victim of my "delusions".
Delusion: a false belief held in spite of evidents.

How can you suggest that I'm being delusional, when you don't even have a clue as to what happened between Kelly and I? Please tell everyone what happened, so that they may see my delusion. Do you also "talk to animals".

And as far as "one hand" following the "other hand...as far as I'm concerned..."liberal B.S." Because I'm not familiar with this "inner circle".....Dream Catcher...line of thinking.

While we are on the subject, you are the one that questioned my history of incarceration. I bleed out to you in front of every one...and then you say that you can't stomach it!

Good grief woman.

Hey Mimi, yes you did date my good crazy looney friend for three years and should be awarded some type of medal for patience and understanding!

As for Robert Mimi, he is a great guy who enjoys a good fun verbal/written battle. And yes Robert, I'm sure many of us aren't sure where you're reality stops and the fantasy/imagination begins. . . but then, for me at least, that is the most fun in reading your stuff.

I suppose what I like most about the reunion is the whole "in" crowd thing seems to fade and we revert back to our elementary school days more than high school. Just a bunch of kids growing up together. Most of my memories in high school were either on a field or in a gym. But for some strange reason, Mohave years are imprinted on my DNA forever.

Last, I think the two of you get the first slow dance together, if in fact our boy band can roll out something without a quick beat!

Mimi and Robert,
I will vouch for both of you, since I was friends with you both.
