Shane..Mr. Reamer! LMAO!! You were my 3rd kiss too Shane..

Robert..So that's why I don't remember..

I had a diary from those early first kissing days.. I need to find it....some of us played "spin the bottle" at Kim's house, I think, and at Anoinette Carline's house in 7th gr, lol.

Brad B. told me that I was his first kiss (hope he doesn't mind me telling it)..you were my second kiss Brad :)

Mi - dirty dave? I kinda like the sound of that. I always have enjoyed playing in the dirt one way or another.

First kiss? - mine was a girl in California named Karen Steale who lived 2 doors away in 3rd grade. We actually got together again just after H.S. but the fire had gone out. Then I think I had a dry spell till around 7th grade when I remember playing spin the bottle with Nancy Bull, Regina Lalla, Kim Spaulding & Greg Hunter at Dan Winkler's house. Not sure who kissed who? Maybe Nancy remembers?

1st kiss for me was Patrick Lee in 5th grade. Iloved him. Pat and his brother Kelly came over to my house and were climbing on the 6' tall brick enclosure around my front door and knocked it down. My Dad was REALLY MAD!!!! Told them to get lost and never come back.

Lisa - Larry Galonka!!!! LOL

I remember spin the bottle in Karol Plencner's basement and her sisters playing Bruce Springsteen on the giant reel to reel tape player in the living room.

Mi,
Regarding your comment on Anita's Facebook; I'm not coming to the reunion. I just can't. I'm unbelievably busy. Was trying to have some down time this week and ended up with an event today and wrote about 6 proposals yesterday and today. Swamped. Plus as it turns out Ashley is having knee surgery on May 19th and i'm trying to plan for a houseful of people coming for her graduation.

Plus, she's in Seussical the Musical this weekend and next weekend. Just too much going on. Good thing i've only got 2 kids!

Hey kids,

I want to thank you all for letting me spill some of my energy here on the forum for the last few months.

I know that I have been at times, a "pain in the ass".

But that's who I was then....and guess what? that's who I am now.

You have all been very good sports!!!

I will see you at the Party!

Andy....One last question. (this one is not loaded, but we sure were when we heard it:)

"He's not responsible for what he's do'n.....his mother made him what he is".

Good Night America,
God Bless you all.

Lisa Snodgrass (Bishop)

Just logged on for the first time in ages and caught the whole first kiss conversation...Kim Rickles, I very much remember playing spin the something (maybe a football?) and I kissed David LeBoue too! Although my first was Steve Clifford in the same game.

Cayce- Slum Dog Millionaire has moved it's way into my #1 favorite movie, bumping out Dirty Dancing which held the spot for 25 years!! Wish I could say I'm kidding, but full disclosure right?

05/07/09 12:26 PM #997

Nancy Bull

Dave D...I thought our 'spin the bottle' moments were private...oh well...not sure who kissed who, my memory is fading....

05/07/09 08:10 PM #998

Kimberly Rickels

Lisa Snodgrass - yes indeedy, it was spin the football, with the teachers watching every minute through their binoculars. VOYEURS - the whole lot of them!

Cayce Evans (Newton)

Lisa Snodgrass,
Still love Dirty Dancing too - definitely a classic, i still can't get over how Jennifer Grey ruined her looks and her career!

I loved the end scene of Slumdog when they're all dancing in the train station - gotta get that song on my iPod.

To Lisa Stephens
That Larry Galonka was apparently a real lady killer. Where the heck is he?

Cayce,
Loved "Slum Dog" too!...Do you really think I know where Larry G. is now? lol!

Favorite movies..a good topic..

I have to list two: "Les Miserables" and "Dumb and Dumber"...

a very close third is "The New World" (must be watched with the CC on to get the full effect)

LOVE these movies!

05/07/09 11:52 PM #1001

Cayce Evans (Newton)

Loved Dumb and Dumber

couple of movies that are so stupid gotta love 'em. Funny Farm - Rick and I were the only ones in the theater laughing and we still love it.

Anchorman, the Legend of Ron Burgundy - walked out when seeing at theater it was so stupid - but my kids made me watch it over so many times it has become a Newton Family classic.

All time Mother/Daughter fave for Ash and I
Singin' in the Rain, Pollyanna, Original Parent Trap

MOST HATED MOVIE OF ALL TIME - MOULIN ROUGE!!!!

You gotta read Nick Bandouveris (did i even get close to spelling that right?) post on his profile about buying a pass to swimming pool.

When I asked my daughter in January how it feels to be a "Senior" she said she was disappointed and thought there would be more perks; like "The Secret Senior Cafeteria", Freshmen to carry her from class to class and so forth.

She has a dry sense of humor and made these comments with a completely straight face. I should tell her there is a pool on the roof.

Cayce, In Karol's basement party, didn't we bring out the Ouiga board too? Or maybe that was a different party of hers.

First time I got kissed- Lisa Cerri in the tunnels 3rd grade- I was the new kid and she was a bit agressive.

First time I kissed- think it was Chris Houston, playing spin the bottle at Tracy's B-day party. 6th/7th grade? Elton John music was playing in the background.

To the reunion team- thank you all for your hard work. This site has been wonderful for reconnecting. For those of us who are too far away to attend- please keep the conversation going post-reunion and upload some pics.

Lance, we have paid the web site company for at least ten more years. If your email address or any one's email address changes you have to remember to change it here so when we have something going on we can contact you.
