For those of you who are wanting to go camping, we are going 10 miles past Strawberry at the 260 & 87 Jct. Robert, Dave and myself had a conference call this morning. Dave is calling a few of our old friends from Pueblo to join us as well. All are welcome even if you just want to come up for the day!! We are leaving early in the morning on July 3rd.
Shane - this is a "un-improved" camping area. So no showers or facilities unless you haul it in! There are a lot of great trails for the bikes though. It is about 4 miles of dirt road. 4 wheel drive is not needed. I've driven a car back there!
Dave, I was talking to Dane this morning and he said that he has been up to a spot called West Clear Creek just off the 260 & 87. Is that where we're going??
Girls, after talking to Dane yesterday about Rocky Pointe as promised I have posted the link on FB so you can check out all the options. Dave said that Colleen may even join us!!
Kim! Turn the a/c on then boil some white vinegar and let that smell get around the house.when it smells strong Then open all the windows and that will help. I had a friend who had the same thing happen! I feel your pain!
Chuck and I want to go on the camping trip! Somebody call me please. Cell: 913-220-6991
Some of the lost shoes that Bill Allen found on the beach have to belong to some of you who have lost shoes. What a bunch of "losers"... You know because you lose things... ok, sorry.
Mimi - the camping area is North of Strawberry. It is just North of Hwy. 260 and West of Hwy. 87. I will put a map together for everyone and try to send out later today.
I am writing to ask all of you for your prayers for my son Brennan who has been in the hospital since last Wed. He initially came in with what they thought was pneumonia, but moved into intensive care yesterday and has now been intubated and will be starting dialysis for kidney failure. He has had a long struggle with his health since being diagnosed 5 years ago with Lupus. Please pray that he will be well again soon.
