Lorrie Laughrun Eaton

After highschool I went to work for my mom in our flower shop as a flower designer and manager. I worked in the flower industry for over 20 years. My mom got married and decided to retire and have fun so we sold the shop. I am now working for Scottsdale Health Care doing the medical billing. I have been working for them for the last 7 years.

I have been married to Scott for 28 years. We met right after highschool. He has been my rock. This past year has been a rough year for me. I was diagnosed with Stomach cancer. I am done with treatments, but a little on the thin side. I am grateful my hair is growing back, and the best is, as of my last scan in March, I am cancer free.

We have 2 kids, Colby 20 who has been playing baseball since he was 4, Club ball and school ball. He is in Iowa now playing baseball and going to school. Alicia 20 has played basketball since 5th grade, club ball and school ball. We Had alot of fun traveling and playing ball. She danced for Cornado for 4 years. She is now going to school to be a nurse and working. They are 2 great kids and have kept us very busy.

I have learned we need to live each day with joy, stay close to our friends and family. Don't get caught up in the small stuff that enters our daily routine. I came across a quote that says it all.

"May you -work like you don't need the money, love like you have never been hurt, and dance like no-one is watching you"

I am thankful for each day, and loving life with my friends and family. :)

I just remember a lot of fun times together. I love the float parties.
