Aloha from Kauai where I have been residing full time since 2009. I have been involved with Property Mgmt and Personal Assisting clients on the North Shore of Kauai as well as Purchasing Specialist for the Dept of Navy at the Pacific Missile Range Facility and Congierge for Expedia at the Hyatt Poipu. I love island life and I have taken the docent training and volunteered for National Tropical Botanical Gardens at Limahuli with 3 gardens on island saving native species and Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens, over 200 acres with over 75 bronze sculptures. Before that time, I was a top producing Realtor in Nevada City from 2000 - 2009 where I lived in the country with big gardens and fruit trees. I've been widowed since 2005 and no children but have 6 nieces and nephews. I take care of a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Winnie and she's 6.
This has been my year to travel as was planning on starting in 2020 but we know what happened there. I just returned from a 21 day tour of Europe in 7 countries. I had to try the food, see the sights, make more memories of a lifetime. I also went to Fiji for 3 weeks, snorkeling and enjoying the people. It's only 6 hours from HI. I also got to explore Japan for 2 weeks, bought the 2 week train pass available tor tourists. Food was great and easy to get around. I will finish the year in New Zealand for Christmas. I've had friends in their 70's saying to me, "you have to travel now" and I listened!
I my earlier years, I went to Scottsdale Community College for a year, Pima Community College, where I had great teachers, then NAU where I took skiing as my PE credit with a major in Education and minor in Business. I moved to Lake Tahoe in 1978 and the Sierra Foothills, Nevada City in 1988. I also discovered Hawaii in 1988 and the rest is history!
Look forward to seeing everyone! I remember when my Dad was going to his 50th reunion and I thought "that's so old". Well, here we are and no, it's not old yet!
