Hello All!
After graduating from CHS, I attended IUP and graduated in 1988 with a B.S. in Child Development/Family Relations. My husband and I were married that year and our son, Nicholas came along soon after (1988 was a very busy year)!
While Nicholas was small, I worked part-time as a waitress and for about 5 years as a desk clerk at Days Inn in Clarks Summit (no longer Days Inn).
In 1991 our beloved Brittany was born! Brittany has spina bifida with many medical complications. When Brittany was very small, she received in-home therapies. That is when I was introduced to the field of Occupational Therapy! I decided it was an exciting field and I returned to school earning my Master's in OT from College Misericordia in 2000. After 7 long years in long-term care, I am currently working full-time for Gentiva Health Services doing home health OT! I absolutely love it!!!
Brittany goes to school at Dunmore High School and is in the learning support class. Nicholas is a junior at Keystone College majoring in Business. He has a car detailing business (Nick Elmy's Car Detailing) which he started at the age of 11! They are both great kids!! I think I'll keep them!!
As I said, my husband and I have been married for 21 years (it will be 22 years in March!). Cleve is a Health and Physical Education teacher and Department Chair at Abington Heights High School. (I find this very ironic since I hated gym in school with a passion; so much so that I took ROTC in college so I wouldn't have to take gym! That whole thing is another story)! Anyway, Cleve also is the head coach of the 7th & 8th grade girls' softball team for Abington.
That's about all I've been up to for the last 25 years! Looking forward to seeing all of you again at the reunion!
