Norman Ross, RIP Posted Friday, September 16, 2016 10:49 PM Via Jim Zurer I received this post on Dr. Norman Ross's web page, The Red Baron. "Red" as in red hair. Red Baron because he too had a life as a fighting man in the air, a life for which he received two Distinguished Flying Crosses and other decorations. "Doc" was sometimes a controversial figure, in the faculty as well as among students. That he was a good man has the strongest testimony--that of his children who have written about him movingly and lovingly. They have also applied the lessons and values he gave them in their own successful and admirable lives. THE FINAL FLIGHT OF THE BARON[From a family representative]
We are very sorry to announce that the Baron has taken his final flight. We hope that his readers have enjoyed his musings and insights over the past few years as much as he enjoyed posting his thoughts to his followers and fans. Although some of you might want to leave a few of your own thoughts, it is not certain that comments can be reviewed or posted in the future. Please enjoy the Baron's past postings, which we hope will continue online for as long as cyberspace allows. Farewell to the Baron, as he fades into the clouds above.... You can read back through his postings for as long as it remains on the internet.
