My writing has improved since I wrote the postcard below from the Catskills in 1952, age 11, and for the first time free from adult supervision.  Troop 43 Scoutmaster Ed Bolitho had dropped off my brothers Art, Bill, and I along with Jude Chlupsa, Howard Goldick and maybe another one or two in the Catskills for a week of camping.  We were loosely looked in on by a Mr. Shroeder who owned a home nearby.
