Barbara "Tuffi" Tenke, RIP

For more than a year I have enjoyed Barbara Tenke's posts on her FaceBook page. She took a great joy in the past and was always in the present body and soul, part of a large extended family and spectrum of friends. In short, an enthusiastic and tough time traveler. Her journey ended Sunday, March 13, 2016  I take the liberty using granddaughter Tiffany Russell's  FaceBook post  as her tribute here too.

"On Sunday, we lost Barbara Tenke, our Nana Barb. She was such a fiercely proud Grandmother, Mother, Aunt, Sister, Cousin and a good friend to many. She had such an indomitable spirit and a thirst for life and all the excitement it entails. She was a part of history, assisting in typing up the specs for the Apollo 11 Lunar Excursion Module at Grumman and was the fiercest Scrabble player to ever draw you into a challenge. She loved her family immensely and had pride for her lineage and Italian and Hungarian heritage.
I'm so grateful for the love and pride that she had and showed for Alex. He felt it and knows his Nana loved him."

To Steve, Nicole and Tim, who lost their Mom: I stand by you, with love and support.
