I'm proud to say Chris was my friend. He was the one who laughed hardest at my jokes and I his, was a great sport when the joke was on him, and shared my interests in music and cars. He was one funny guy, a talented engineer and world traveler and if anybody could be said to be doing their own thing it was Chris. I always considered him my closest friend next to my wife, even when I didn't see him for years. I suspect a lot of other people felt the same way. The world was always a better place when Chris was in it.
