After HS I joined the Navy and served aboard the USS Chicago in the Western Pacific Fleet. I was later stationed in San Diego as a public/recruiting tour guide for the Naval Amphibious Base and Seal Teams. In mid 70’s I returned to Seattle and worked for Austin Company designing & building the Boeing Everett expansion and Kent Cruise Missile Plant. I graduated from UW in 1982, and was hired by the Inupiat Eskimos of Arctic Alaska as an exploration Geologist. Later as the Land and Natural Resources Manager for the Athabaskan Natives of south central Alaska. My family returned to Seattle in the 90’s where I worked and continue to work as a Land Inspector for all of the title insurance companies in western Washington. My wife and I have travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, and in the teens throughout Europe and the UK and Ireland. I am semi-retired and currently just finishing my first novel of a Celtic Fantasy trilogy set in medieval Ireland. Much joy to you all!
