Jeffrey Lee Parker, 14, son of Ron and Gail Parker of Sedro-Woolley, died at United General Hospital Thursday, October 25, 1984 following a long illness with leukemia. He was born April 13, 1970 in Sedro-Woolley and raised in Lyman before moving to Sedro-Woolley with his family in 1982. He was a freshman at Sedro-Woolley High School, a member of the First Baptist Church of Lyman and active in the Lions' Little League football and baseball. He is survived by his parents in Sedro-Woolley; a brother, Steve at home; paternal grandparents Frank & Ferbia Parker of Ferndale; maternal grandparents Cyrus & Jo Hooper of Lyman; great-grandmother Hester Adams of Eureka, California; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins

I didn't get to know Jeff as muchas I would have liked to. He was always very nice to me and treated me like a friend even though I didn't hang out with him. I always kept him in my heart for that. It was a shame to loose him at such a young age. He was a decent guy with a great heart.
