John McNeil (Cummings)

Left high school and joined the Navy. Spent 5 years in and was discharged honorably. Got my first degree while in the Navy: Computer Sciences associate degree. Went to work for IBM for a number of years before heading to Fort Lauderdale to go back to college to get an Advertising Associates degree. Left Fort Lauderdale and went home for a short time. Went to Skagit Valley College and got a College Universite Transfer Degree (Got to love Veteran's GI Bill), then moved back to Fort Lauderdale where I opened up an Advertising agency and ran it successfully until 2009 when the economy took a dive. Burnt out on trying to reserect a business in a bad economy, decided it was time to go back to school and do something different. Growing up I told everyone I was going to go into advertising and everone else thought I was going to be a chef... well we were both right. I graduate in 2011 with yet another associates degree and have already gotten a job with Iron Chef Morimoto at the Boca Raton resort in Boca Raton Florida.

I was one of the wall flowers... I had a few good friends, but liked everyone else the same. I have to admit I don't remember very many people that well from high school. I looked through the website to jog my memory and remembered a few faces, but not much more than that. Guess when I said I was going to get out of town, and leave Sedro-Woolley in the past, I did.
