Hello Classmates!  I'm looking forward to catching up with all of you at the reunion.  I would love to update you here with all the details, but a little bit of mystery is nice.  Suffice it to say I have a job, own a house in Selah, and just bought a new car.  My kids are grown and I have six grand children.  I'm in a wonderful relationship with Steve Dexter from Selah.  And I can't wait to get up in the woods to practice my Viking yell and down some swill while dancing around a bonfire.  devil

Hello Fellow Selah Class of 1984 Classmates,
I'm on a mission to reach out to as many classmates as I can before our 30th class reunion (which starts Friday the 25th)!!!! All I can do is to Invite you to check out our website, convince you that nothing is more important and just say your coming, and get you signed up for the event of a lifetime!!! (Which English teacher is to blame for that run on sentence?)
Just for classic overkill, here is our reunion website:

https://www.classcreator.com/Selah-Washington-1984/class_index.cfm

Remit payment via PayPal to shsviks30year@gmail.com .... See Website

I've been on Facebook for a long time now, (since Feb, 2014) and and I'm lucky enough to have found almost 100 classmates (Facebook Friends)!!!
But I see that not all my friends have made it to our reunion web page to at least sign in and at least let us know that you're alive and check out all the cool things we have planned. I challenge all of you, just take 20 min. tonight and sign up or sign in and check out all the new/exciting things planned! Signing up  can be as anonymous (See Privacy notice in the first time users tab. John "Jack" Muirhead is the site Administrator) or as open as you please. Of course we want everyone possible to attend!!! But, If you can't, please please please at least sign in to our reunion website and let us know:
A) You are coming to the reunion and here is my pre-registerstation.
B) You are coming to the reunion and You can register on July ?
C) You already pre-registered and are all paid up, but You would like to donate an extra $50.00 so You can help even more people have a even safer the time of a lifetime!!!
D) You would love to come but You just have to figure out how ditch your old plans so You  can do the Viking thing and attend and have the time of a lifetime!
E) You would love to come but I just can't ditch my plans but I want to do the Viking thing and donate $50.00 so my classmates can have the time of a lifetime!
F) I just can't make it, but please email me some sweet ass pictures of the time of the lifetime I missed.
G) Kurt... You are an amazing "orator" (def. an eloquent and skilled public speaker.), but I just can't make it to the reunion!

Your commitment to attend is the first step... "Just Say Yes"!
Your phone calls to missing or uncommitted classmates is the next step!
Your pre-register and any donations seems like an important step!
Your scanned pictures (from High School, Grade School, Childhood, and even current Family Pictures) to D'Arcy Barberie Rowe:
Your promise not to get mad at me for trying to rally the troops (classmates)

I'm going to post this a few times in a few places:
SHS Class of 1984 - 30 Year Reunion Page
All of my Facebook friends
And last but not least: I'm going to reply to all to some group e-mails that I recieved 10 years ago from our 20th High School Reunion.

I hope this message finds everyone well and I hope it builds some excitement for and I'll see you at our 30th reunion in less than two weeks!

Shall I have some fun... maybe I should ask Les Nelson first... he has read a few. But here is one (and I know he hasn't read it):

Time slowly passes so swiftly by,

Years seem passing as just a day,

    Passing each new grade,

Continually learning as we are made.

Seeing each here as we are friends,

As another year comes and ends,

Look even deeper past some fear,

Listen closely and you may hear.

Support keeps coming to us,

Sometimes slowly, others in a rush,

Care seems around though we don’t see,

Helping each other starts in me.

So sometimes we ask,

  Sometimes join the task,

So as we go out again,

Remember these here and lost as “Friend.”
