Roger Gibson

After I graduated from Seneca High School in 1978, I enlisted in the U.S. Army and served four years in Germany and Colorado. I returned to Seneca and became a patrolman for the Seneca Police Department. A couple of years later I received a chance to advance my career and continued by work as a patrolman for the Clemson University Police Department. I have worked my way through the ranks to Lieutenant. Several years later I was promoted to Lead Investigator in the Criminal Investigative Division. I retired September 01, 2011 with 28 years of service. Man do I have some war stories….hehehe.
I met my wife Sabine in Germany and we dated for about a year before I was transferred to Fort Carson. Sabine had to finish school and joined me about 8 months later and we were married in El Paso County, Colorado in 1981. Sabine is a great travel agent at Small World Travel, as you may have seen from my photo albums; she and my daughter travel a lot.
My daughter was born in 1987; she got her mother’s brains and good looks….thank goodness. Paige graduated from Daniel High School and Clemson University with honors—I told you that she was smart. Paige is currently working on her Master’s at the University of Chicago.
