Sarah Thomas Maiberger

I graduated from Clemson in 1982 with a BS in Accounting. I worked for Union Carbide and Price Waterhouse in Greenville till 1987 when I transferred with Price Waterhouse to Atlanta. In 1989 I got married and moved to San Antonio. I worked as a controller there until 1991 when my husband (also a CPA) and I moved to Clemson to work for my father's software development company. I took a break from that to raise my children and returned to work in 1985. I continue to work with my brother in the family software business.

So many good times starting with Freshman Initiation. Hadden Senn made me fry like bacon on the stage of the cafeteria - then Kangaroo Court!! Glad people didn't have cell phone cameras back then. In fact, there are a lot of reasons to be thankful for that!

I moved to Seneca the summer before my freshman year and didn't know many people. I met Mimi Richardson over the summer and that set the course for some good times. Ann Holmes also extended a warm welcome and is a cherished friend to this day.

I loved football games and basketball games, sleepovers with good friends -- listening to "Bread" with Mary Simpson as a freshman, youth group activities at Trinity Baptist (especially when we joined with St. Marks and Seneca Pres -- Hilton Head and long walks on the beach -- right, John), newspaper staff, debates with Brad Norton over totally inane issues, and on and on.

Artwork from Underwater Paradise (lovely sea blue) and every homecoming float we worked on are still on the attic floor of my parents garage. Good times.

Beach trips when we chaperoned the chaperones. Explorer trips -- soggy Chauga River and skiing at Appalachian.

So many good times!
