David Paul

I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1986. I worked for Fluor Daniel as an Automation Engineer for a little over 3 years before I decided extensive traveling and living on airplanes all the time was not what I wanted to do. I then went to work for a Textile machinery manufacturer in Greenville, this was a interesting job however the textile indusrty in the United States was in decline and the future did not look very promising so I made a decision to go back to an Engineering firm. I then worked for a small engineering firm for a few years and earned my professional engineering certification. (Yes I have papers from the state........lol) I then decided to make a career change and went into the farm equipment business as a dealer principal. Unfortunately this partnership arrangement did not work out so I went back to engineering. I went back to doing what I knew how to do best.....I have been with this company, Tegron for the last 5 years and work out of their office in Greenville. Along the way I had two wonderful children from my first marriage. That marriage ended but now I am married to a wonderful christian woman and life partner. I also became a step father to my wife's son which was a new experience since having only girls before!! I have lived in a 130 year old farm house here in Pickens for 20 years so it keeps me busy. In my spare time (What's that??) I like to restore antique tractors and go to antique tractor shows. I also am an Ebay power seller buying and selling Government surplus type items. My wife helps mind the Ebay store and keeps me out of the ditches of life.... I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
