School Story:
I remember the story about Meredith Cobb and Evie McCall running away! Boy, did I want to beat their little hides!! I remember Lynn Gibson and Janet Tucker being the best of buds and all of us "cruising" Walhalla, and Janet & I cutting class for two weeks my junior year. It was typing class & I hated it! No reflection on Mrs. Land, she was so sweet! It was part of my rebellion and Coach Rosier made me go to the cafeteria and tell my mama. She 'bout had a nervous breakdown and I wondered if I had done something like get pregnant, rob a store, or shoot somebody, what would she have done? I have regretted all that crazy stuff and have paid for my raising!!
