I recently moved to Watertown, MA (by Boston) to be a grandmom. Over the years I lived 6+ in Mauritania and Burundi (Africa) with Ithaca, NY as my home base when not there. Along with raising my miniatures, I ran mental health agencies and developed trauma and HIV programs until going into private practice. I moved my practice from Ithaca to Boston area and fell in love with the little creature that my girl birthed. Like me she wants to dance pretty much all the time. My dad didn't die from the gunshot of the police bomber but cancer got him years later. We honor him with an annual conference on psychiatry and spirituality. My mom is too wild to die. The only other thing that rings up from shaker times is that blues is still my chicken soup music. The band for the reunion looks great. I'm excited, and nervous that I won't remember the names that go with my memories of your faces.

Hi Janet,
I just got your birthday wishes...only a few months late. Thank you belatedly. I was back in Shaker with Elsie and Paul recently and said hello to your house and sent wishes into the clouds for your mom, so hard to believe she's no longer here. How are you and your clan? Isn't it funny that we're parents when it was just yesterday that we were kids and our parents were soooo old. I'm even a grandparent now, it's my favorite experience in life to date. Hope we can coordinate visits to shaker one of these days. I've moved to Boston for grandmotherhood so if you ever find yourself out here you have a boston home. Love, Nancy
