School Story:

My identical twin brother, Marty(may he rest in peace), and I had a friend, Coert Bonthius, who lived across the street. One summer we went to a Rock concert on Northfield Rd. and met a guy named Chuck Sherman from Beachwood. We began a conversation after my brother and I were taken aback at how similar Chuck and Coert were in appearance. So we started hanging out together. One day my brother and Coert had gone to Manner's restaurant to hang out and badger the manager there and they were particularly annoying that day so the manager threw them off the property! Unfortunately for Chuck and I, we were not saavy to the event in time, for the next day we decided to go hang out peaceably at Manner's and to our complete surprise, when the manager saw us, he immediately threw us off the property yelling: "I thought I told you guys to get out and stay out!!" Perplexed, but, being a twin, and surmising what probably had taken place, I responded: "But sir, that was my twin you threw out yesterday!" He answered: "Yea, sure! What about your buddy here. I suppose he has a twin brother too?" "No!" I stammered "he has a look-a-like who just happened to be with my brother yesterday!" He shouted: "Yea, right, and I'm Howdy Doody...get outa here!!" Needless to say, the tale brought endless laughs to all of us ne'er do wells for quite some time!
