I graduated from West Point in 2003 and was commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer in the US Army. I went on to complete a Masters in Asian Studies at the University of Hawaii in 2005 through a degree fellowship awarded by the East West Center. From 2006-2009 I worked in the Republic of Korea in various military assignments, culminating in the position of deputy speechwriter for the senior US Army General in Korea. I am currently completing the Military Intelligence Captains Career Course in Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. My next assignment will be in Baghdad, Iraq as the primary speechwriter for General Odierno, the commander of Multi-National Force Iraq.
