School Story
Although '99 was my one and only year at Shaker, it was definately a memorable one! From linking up with lifetime friends: G. Will, Mike T, J Calli, Pace, K. Love & J. Walls- to being mentored by one of the best guidance counselors in education (shout out to Dr. Anandale) - to the many "battles" during track season. It's hard to pick out one moment that stands out among them all that year. However I will never forget the Kent State Invitational Track Meet. After an entire season of many hours spent training, sweating, and preparing I ended up fracturing my fibula running in the best race of my life in the 800m. It was disappointing yet humbling. That was the end of my track days, but was a very important lesson learned!
