Hi to All Classmates!

I just so enjoyed Peter Brown's Zoom meeting today.  I believe about 20 of us were there and looking great.  Hearing about the great and interesting lives of each one was fabulous.  I encourage all of you "still alive" to join us for the next one in January.  There was no food or wine but the conversations and video made our get together memorable and heck, you can have your glass of wine if you like!  Thanks Peter

Dottie so glad that you sent your message.  Janet & David Cunningham zoomed in and found it to be so refreshing to have brief conversations with classmates.  Peter has agreed to do it again in January on a Tuesday evening so hope many of our friends from high school will tune in.  So good to see and hear from all to include Dottie.

I concur that It was a good meeting.  Especially for all of us you have migrated from Shaker to differnt parts of the US or Worlld.    Hopefully in Jan there will be more attendees.  I'm looking forward to it.

With much sadness I just received the following from Chuck Reed husband of our lclassmate Carolyn Blake Reed

Hi Peter, this is Chuck Reed.  I received your letter regarding the Shaker class of 1959 Zoom reunion today,January 13, 2025.  I'm sorry to tell you that Carolyn died on December 10, 2024 after a lengthy but valiant battle against cancer.  She never forgot her Shaker roots and on at least 2 occasions she wanted to drive past her old house on Claremont after a medical visit to Cleveland Clinic.  If her obituary is still posted on the website of the funeral home in Vermilion, I will send it to you.  I don't think she was very active with Shaker school alumni activities,so this news probably hasn't been circulated.  Is that something you could do?  Or maybe you could let me know of the "official" way to do that.  Thanks.
