In Memory

Glenn Golenberg

age 83, born March 9, 1941, passed away April 26, 2024. On Friday we said goodbye to an extraordinary person, my father, Glenn, who passed away peacefully at home in Los Angeles.
Glenn's warmth and generosity touched all who knew him, making each of us feel uniquely valued. His presence brought light and kindness into our lives, and his absence will be deeply felt.
A more detailed tribute and time and place of a celebration of life will follow soon, but for now, I wanted to inform those of you who were closest to him. Please share this message with anyone I might have missed.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to Temple Judea in Tarzana or the Hillel at the University of Pennsylvania. He was extremely concerned about the current state of anti-semitism and I know this would be meaningful to him.

My memory of Glenn goes back to 8th grade, section M. In English class, he quietly sang funny songs, hoping to get the rest of us who sat near him to start laughing. Does anyone else remember those days? Sue Bloomenthal Maynard
