I  remember Skip from Onaway School to graduation.  He was one of those guys who were technically adept (geeks before the term was introduced) and helped make things run.  In fact, they were the glue that held things together.  Can anyone tell me about Skip's life after graduation?

Martha Oviatt (Sheldon)

My brother, Jim Oviatt, was a friend of Skip's and so I saw him at my father's memorial service and briefly at other times. He married a women by the name of Alice who was a delight. I think he met her at the old ice skating rink out on Rt. 8 (my memories of Cleveland are a little vague at times). Some friends and I skated out there sometimes during college and I ran into him there. For such a big fellow, Skip was a great skater! I think he was a co-owner of a theater in Chagrin Falls that showed old time movies (I hope I have that straight). He, of course, was the techie behind making the cameras run. He worked for one of the electronics firms in Cleveland, because he was a geek before the word was coined. He seemed to enjoy his life. I don't believe they had any children, but Skip was always doing what he loved. It's too bad we don't have a cross-class platform because I am sure we would learn more about some of our class mates that way.
