MARY PATRICIA “PAT” FRITZ (nee Sanson), age 78, Beloved wife of Jerry for 53 years. Cherished mother of Gregory (Jennifer), Michael (Shelly), Matthew (Shannon) and Karen DiMarco (Frank). Sister of Lea Berninger and Jeff Sanson. Loving grandmother of Anthony, Nathan, Zachary, Ozzie and Zara; Ava, Henry, Gus and Lila; Ronan, Harrison and Wolfgang; Gianna, Lucia and Sofia. Dear aunt and friend to many. Preceded in death by her beloved dog, Charlie. Passed away March 6, 2020. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 10 at St. Raphael Church, 525 Dover Center Road, Bay Village. Interment Private. I went through Lomond School with Pat and Lea and then in later years their Mother (Mary Sanson) moved acrross the street from me in Walden (Aurora,Ohio) and then soon after that Lea moved in several doors down from my home. It was nice to rekindle their friedship. There are four class pictures online on this Shaker High School site that show Pat and Lea in various elementary school class pictures along with myself. Like others I have fond memories of the Sanson twins. I also knew them from Lomond elementary school. I remember sleep overs when we were young with Sue Brannan and others living in that area. Losing friends at our age reminds us of how precious life is.

I only got to really know Pat (and her husband Jerry Fritz) upon being hired as her architect for an addition to their then Solon home. They were the BEST to work with! Kind, friendly and fun. Am so glad I got to know her.
