It is with sadness that I share with you the passing of our classmate and friend, Paul M. Rose, on April 29, 2019, in San Francisco, California, after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his brothers, Robert and Edward, and was the nephew of the late, Honorable Judge Jean Murrill Capers. Paul was an honor student, an attorney and a professional singer. He enjoyed singing in San Francisco area nightclubs.
A memorial service- celebration of life- was held among friends, in June, at one of his favorite night spots.
Paul will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

I didn't have any classes with Paul, but I sat next to him in homeroom of course.
Paul was a quiet and serious scholar, and always a gracious person. Although he appeared shy to me, he was friendly when you got to know him.I am not surprised that he pursued a career in public service helping others.

This is sad news indeed. We had enjoyed getting to know Paul again after all these years. What a lovely and elegant person. Had last gone back and forth in February when he told us he was entering a chemo program and visiting not far from Napa.
