Wow, 40 years have flown by, but I'm happy with the path I've chosen. Like a drive through Nebraska, not too many ups or downs. I'm still in Glencoe, but in the next 2 years, I have grand plans of designing and building a forever home (barndominim this time), retiring along with the husband and moving up to Lake Washington in Dassel, MN. Beyond that, my son and I want to continue developing our engraving business to put our fiber laser engraver to use. Camping is in my blood (more like glamping), and we purchased a motorhome with the intention of hitting every state to see everything I haven't seen yet. Can't think of a better way to travel. Until then, my spare time is spent bleacher warming year-round watching the grandkids' ball games. I also cherish the random trips I take with my mom and 4 sisters. Got Sedona on the brain for this fall. In the meantime, every single weekend is spent working my overworked shoulders and knees cleaning up our cabin property, then sitting by the fire just plain chilling with a beer. Or two. Life is pretty good.
