Graduated from University of Kansas in 1976. Moved to Texas working for The Dow Chemical Company. Master's in Chemistry from Texas A&M. Employed by The Dow Chemical Company for 38 years. Now retired.
Active in church work and kids lives.

Volunteered for 2 months in the Congo on assignment with the Africa Mercy in 2014. 1 month in Kenya volunteering at preschools, orphanages, and Kibera women's HIV/Aids support center in 2015. Volunteered with Hope Church in Romania for a week and then straight into 2 weeks in Thailand with World Evangelization for Christ in 2016. In the middle of this we moved to Granbury TX and volunteer with Jobs For Life. 2017 we were back in Kenya for a month in the mountains outside of Nairobi. 2018 was back with Mercy Ships in Cameroon for 9 weeks. Botswana in 2019 was our foreign mission work, including a spitting cobra in the shower! 2020 we were rather grounded, but i continued teaching jobs For Life and have now in 2021 instructed the youth version Powered for Life. Built a school and church in Uganda in 2021. Planted coffee trees so an orphanage in Honduras can be self sustaining (2022).
Do you have any Hobbies or favorite pastime? What are they?

I enjoy investing in other people. It doesn't matter if it is teaching, feeding , etc young or old, I want to make other people's lives better.

Vacationing this summer / Colorado river rafting, European river cruise and 2 weeks in Canada and Alaska. Volunteering in Africa will come later.
