I went to UW-Milwaukee for 2 & 1/2 yr.s & majored in "partying like a rock star on a smaller budget". I learned a lot about myself & life. My favorite classes included "Dreams & Visions in Native American Metaphysics" as well as "Jack Kerouac & the Beatnik Generation". Other highlights included seeing bands like the Butthole Surfers & immersing myself in the culture of the inner city.
After dropping out of college, I decided that I didn't want a career, I just wanted a job. I was hired at what was Masland at the time & later became Lear & then I.A.C.. For the next 15 years I worked on the production lines, mostly doing the more physical work so I didn't have to work with the lazy idiots. Working 2nd shift (2:30-10:30PM) allowed me to live my life from midnight to sunrise, which is how I prefer it. I was laid off just after my 15 year anniversary. Then I went to LTC & graduated with honors with a degree in Marketing. After that, I worked doing sales & deliveries for a small produce distributor in Sheboygan called A.J. Wholesale Produce. That gig ended late last year (2013) & I'm currently back doing factory work, and back on 2nd shift, at Dutchland Plastics in Oostburg. I inject a chemical concoction into empty Yeti brand coolers that provides the insulation. Someday I'll put my degree back to use & perhaps even have a career vs. a job.
My main passion is music, so I like to spend my time listening to it & making it. I also still love to read & write. I'm also really into baseball (Go Brewers!), tending to my garden & flowers, and making & eating delicious food.
