12/28/08 07:30 PM #952     Stacy Kearis (Cerget) Thanks to all that came last night. It was great to see you. I posted a few pics today. I did not get to bed until after 4 am. Our last guest left at 5pm today. Yes, it was Doby.....He came at 7pm on Saturday and left at 5pm Sunday. He broke the house rule of NO DOBY sleeping over only because I could not drive him all the way home...I was too tired. He did treat McDonalds at lunch(Vendettis is closed on Sunday). That was nice.... Anyway, Happy New Year to All. Doby said he was having the next party at his house. See you all there. HAHAHAHAHAHA

12/28/08 07:36 PM #953     Sheri Strang It looks like I will be the first to respond about Stacy's party. First of all, the house was positively beautiful with all the decorations and the house was filled with the aroma of Stacy's gourmet creations. Kathy, Tracy and I were joking about Stacy having a cooking show. She is definitely an amazing cook and quite the multi-tasker. GREAT Job Stacy!!! I think the most important thing was the house was full of laughter! Kathy and I thought our sides were going to split we laughed so hard. Also, Kathy's Shawn and my Alan seemed to hit it off as the non Ike guys. My fiance, Alan, was definitely having a great time along with all of us and he met several amazing people from Ike. Darrin, Sarah, Doby, Gnacke and his wife, Theresa, Jim, Mike,Bob,Ted and many other people. There were a few people's children there as well, and it was so great to see the pride in their eyes when they introduced their kids. It is so hard to believe it has been 20 years. By the way Stacy has some great photos from Ike days and it was so fun looking through the pics and seeing the old faces. I took photos as well and as soon as I learn to use my new camera I will add them to the pics! :o)

12/28/08 08:09 PM #954     Stacy Kearis (Cerget) Thanks for the props Sherri. I would kick "Cooking with Cathy's" Butt any day of the week as I would have a few cocktails during my cooking show. Jim and I obviously love to cook and create things. I also spend WAY TOO MUCH time decorating for Christmas. It takes 3 weeks to put it all up and decorate my 18 trees and chandeliers. (Jim thinks I am crazy, but he loves it too.) I too laughed harder than I had in a long time as the company was truly enjoyed and always welcome at the Cerget household. Happy New Year!!!

12/28/08 09:10 PM #955     Katherine DiPonio Last night was a night filled with laughter at the Cerget house! The party crashers at the end of the night were off the hook! Sherri and I almost pee'd ourselves! I do believe I told the 1 guy he was a jackass! I knew Doby would be staying the night at Stacy's! That guy kills me! Stacy's house is beautiful and the decorations were incredible! Not to mention the yummy munchies! She could definately have her own cooking show! I found out I like chick pea's! Even though they don't have red sauce! LMFAO! It was really nice to see a few faces I haven't seen since our all night party and in some cases since they graduated in 88! Reconnecting and renewing friendships is very refreshing! I love seeing how we've all grown up! Sheri - you and Alan are perfect for eachother! I know that you two will be very happy together. You can see the love you have for eachother - the eyes tell all! Muah! Looking forward to the next time friends! Happy New Year!

I'm just curious, because both my brothers are in bands and if a band was needed still, I could probably get them to play for us. Just a thought, they are all Ike goers, anyone know Jeff and Jayson Zook, or Rob Scalici, Larry Howard?? Their band plays at Rogers Roost and Hamlin Pub in Shelby(?) Thanks!

Now with him owning his own painting company, I can imagine he paints to a beat of some sort lmao. He's in the process of writing a book, I think it's more of a learning tool book, and different technical stuff he's made up along the way..I've seen some of it and can't wait until he's done, it's pretty cool and hope he'll be able to do something with it.

I've got some pics from Stacy's party but need to upload them - I'm going to send them to Michelle later today so she can post them on her website. Frankie came home last night - HOLY MOLY did I miss him! Didn't realize how quiet it was in the house til he was home for about a half hour. Santa got him a set of drums but forgot to bring Mama Tylenol! :)

I did get Frankie drums - that's the only thing he asked Santa for. The kid didn't really leave me a choice! lol He's actually kinda good - might just have the musical thing in him. He has a guitar and keyboard too. I see some sort of musical instrument lessons coming. And he takes pretty good care of his instruments too - it's really kinda scarey. I could have a future rock star on my hands. My parents wished this on me you know! Maybe I can guide him toward Christian Rock! Ha!
