I joined the Army a couple months after graduating from high school and I am still on active duty. I am an Aviation branch officer (major) and a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot. I'm currently assigned to the 8th US Army in Seoul, Korea where I work on the EUSA staff as the Deputy Chief of OMD (G-3) AVN (Aviation Operations).
After serving six years as an enlisted Soldier, I attended IU on the Army's dime in 1995. I graduated in 1998 with a BA in East Asian Studies and earned my commission as an officer in the Army through ROTC. I've since earned my Masters in Human Resource Development from Clemson University in 2007.
School Story:

I remember that my brother, Darin, and I threw a big kegger/bon fire graduation party at our house. The parents were not please when they returned from their trip!

I guess my proudest accomplishment was just getting out and seeing the world...oh, and I have a beautiful, loving wife and three great sons!

Me in August of 2008. President Bush came for a visit; that's the presidential flag behind me. Somehow I was put in charge of organizing his address to the troops. Cool to meet the Pres!
