David, you're making my brain hurt. 'The Greatest American Hero' was not the same as 'Hardcastle and McCormick'.

'The Greatest American Hero' starred William Katt and Robert Culp as unwitting hero and FBI agent respectively.

'Hardcastle and McCormick' starred Brian Keith (who remembers 'Family Affair'?) and Daniel Hugh Kelley as a retired judge and a con trying to do better respectively.

Both good shows, but one had a alien super suit and the other had a Coyote kit car.

I am gonna go out on a limb and say that both were probably Stephen J. Cannell productions though. He was the Aaron Spelling of the eighties.

Family Affair! I loved Jody and Buffy....She and I both had a Mrs. Beasley doll!

I loved the show 'Family Affair' as a kid. I remember that my mother told me that the girl that played Buffy commited suicide and I just could not comprehend what she was saying at the time. One of those growing up moments I guess. Why would anyone do that I wondered.

Do any of you guys remember any moments like that when you lost a big chunk of your innocence?

Deep. I know.

Justin James (1986)

wow that is deep! I dont remember any moments like that!

Vicki Ausbrooks (Shaw) (1988)

I don't think my lost-innocence moments are for public consumption... : )

Robert Welch (1989)

Word to your mother!

11/19/08 07:04 PM #231

Vicki Ausbrooks (Shaw) (1988)

Took the words right outta my mouth, Robert!

(If anybody's been wonderin' where I've been...I've been workin' on a lil' sumpin' sumpin' for the 88 reunion...and I got OBSESSED and couldn't stop...but I'm 99% done with it...so I'll be back to conjuring up entertainment for you guys tomorrow...cuz I like being busy...and I rarely am...and I'm feelin' a lil' manic episode comin' on...LOL.)

11/19/08 09:46 PM #232

Robert Welch (1989)

Manic? Wasn't that a detective show?

11/20/08 08:13 AM #233

Justin James (1986)

I was just discussing this song yesterday with someone...and the fact that Kip Winger was HAWT!!!! He'd make a great vampire!

11/20/08 08:40 AM #235

Justin James (1986)

Hawt! is in the eyes of the beholder!!!!!

Steve Warmack (1987)

I went out on a couple of dates with a girl a couple of years back who knows a lot of people in the Nashville Music scene... musicians, etc... and she told me about the time she was playing cards or something with a friend in Nashville and Kip was there... and he was all like "I had a band in the late eighties... remember... called Winger?"

and she was all like "No. I dont think I ever heard of you guys"

and he just hung his head.

That is just sad! Maybe the govt. should give Kip a bail-out package...

Justin James (1986)

has he gone country?

11/20/08 11:34 AM #239

Justin James (1986)

we went to bay fest here in October and saw Hootie it was pretty good, he played some old blowfish stuff with a country twang too it, also saw Better than Ezra, kid rock, buck cherry and others!

11/20/08 01:10 PM #240

Steve Warmack (1987)

Nah. She was just one of those girls who, when she says "I listen to ALL kinds of music"... she really means "I listen to country AND alt-country"

Fairly common.

11/20/08 01:21 PM #241

Stacy Cunningham (Gilbert) (1989)

Better Than Ezra....Love them! Great college band! Cowboy Mouth too! They came to town a few months ago but didn't get to go! :-(

11/20/08 01:40 PM #242

Justin James (1986)

well i do like all kinds of music just some better than others! but it runs in cycles, it all depends on the situation that im in!!

11/20/08 02:00 PM #243

Vicki Ausbrooks (Shaw) (1988)

I like SOME country...like Rascal Flatts & Brad Paisley. And I like OLD country.

BTW, Brad Paisley is coming to LR the same night of the 88 reunion. : (

11/20/08 02:44 PM #244

Justin James (1986)

Life is about choices, why not have them change the reunion to the same place as the concert and kill two birds with one stone!

11/20/08 03:27 PM #245

Vicki Ausbrooks (Shaw) (1988)

Well, Mr. Paisley will just have to do without me...there'll be other chances to see him. I wouldn't miss either night of the reunion for anything! Not very many people have registered for it yet. : (
