You're welcome! And that was certainly worth it! My 7-yr-old would LOVE to throw stinking fish down the beach! : )

I put a "TIPS" section up so everyone can join in the fun!

My freakin' in-laws finally left! I mean they were just here on Thanksgiving and they'll be here on Christmas. How much do they need to see us? Oh and I do a mean "Fat Bottomed Girls" on karaoke.

The Mullet toss looks like fun. Karaoke can be fun until someone is actually serious about it. Justin is response to your earlier question, it is interesting how we get scattered across the country. College brought me out here and I loved it so much I stayed.

I went to a karaoke birthday party last night - - it was all fun and games until someone submitted MY name - - it was BAD!! My guy friends sang Wanted Dead or Alive with me....BAD I tell you!! I was sent the video today... I think everyone thinks they are good until you see it the next day..... Holy Cow!!!

Vickie, I think that you are on to something with Mark's Karaoke quote. You could probably write an entire song from this conversation and from his post.

Lets see...

"Bee line to Biloxi
gotta get away from the in-laws

and you haven't lived
until you karaoke
in front of a bunch of strangers
on the Redneck Riviera..."

suggestions anyone?

Sorry, this is nowhere near the subject but Vic you are SERIUOSLY killing me with the DT vids. Was I ever that skinny and limber? I thought I was a fat cow but I would give anything now to be that size, ha. I didn't realize it was all me. I guess since my dad was the camera operator, what do you expect? I loved seeing that so thanks. Actually Steven Eagle is the one who emailed me and told me to watch. Priceless. I have 1986 graduation on VHS but don't know if it will transfer to digital. I also have the plays, choral concerts and lip sync contest. Gordon Brodsky is trying to transfer some of it for me. I have a really great quartet with me, Jody Lowery, Mike Brown and Kelley Parker. Some day I will get it all transferred. Thanks, I needed a boost tonight.

Justin is a brave man. I tell my wife her butt looks just like it did the day we met. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.Glad you're enjoying ridiculing my life Chuck and Vicki. And yes I really Freddie up my performance when I Karaoke. QUEEN RULES.

Mark, im not brave i just have the music up so loud and move my lips like im talking she ask what did you say that goes back and forth a few times till she drops it, its all about timing! LOL

Mark, No worries...You could easily write a country song about my life. You divulge alot and your geographic proximity to the "Redneck Riviera" makes it easy to put together the lyrics.

Vicki Ausbrooks (Shaw) (1988)

Adria, all of us former Jacketteers LOVE the vids regardless! So glad your dad had that camera! And can't wait to see the other stuff you have! Great old pics you posted, by the way!

You're right, Chuck...I think we could each have a country hit with our lives...or we could just use Mark's!

Agreed!!! I LOVE watching them and am so glad that we have them!!!!

Ok, I had to go back like 12 pages to catch up on all the chatter. I have to comment about Aaron's post about the Monte Carlo. Is that Pat Moltz in the pic? LOL. He got one for his birthday or something at school. It looked just like the one in the picture and it had a huge red bow on it. Anyone remember that? I think the guys in our hang out group were drooling over it.

I like the who's online feature, but I think the hide my name feature is cheating.

12/08/08 11:40 AM #742

Vicki Ausbrooks (Shaw) (1988)

Melinda, I had to go back to see what you were referring to...I completely missed that! Pat did have a car exactly like that! : )

Mark, you're right...hiding your name is cheating, folks! If I could turn that part of the feature off, I would.

Melinda Hill (Choate) (1988)

Oh, and congratulations Bridget. Your grandson looks exactly like his father. And for the record, I was never after the boyfriend you had at the time. Never, ever wanted him. You were the only person I ever almost got into a fight with in school. I spent a great deal of time trying to save BJ from some person or another though. From Vicki and Becky once at the band hall after a basketball game. In the end, Vicki's mother had to forcibly remove her to keep her from attacking Jimmy (now my husband) for jumping into the fray. It was hilarious.

I cannot for the life of me remember what Jimmy said that made me want to KILL him! He pushed a BIG button though, obviously. I was LIVID!!! : )
