PBS rocked!! Remember when you would stay home from school sick & get to watch Pinwheel and Miss Polly's Paintbox and that show with the clown that swallowed a whistle? Bob's House of Sound - your source for the latest Johnny Cash wax: Photobucket Photobucket

You can't go Chipmunks without mentioning these guys.

Stacy, I can vouch for Whataburger in RussVegas. I've stopped there too many times on the way to Razorback games.

Ok - besides you guys going ADD on me... Cash to Cassidy to the King... that had to be one of the greatest line ups of vintage vid I've seen in a while!

10,000 points to Gartman for Zoom, but 10 million to Chuck for 3-2-1 Contact!! I LOVED that show!

Now - if somebody can find a clip of "The Red Hand Gang" from 3-2-1 Contact, I'd be impressed! There are several Red Hand Gang vids on YouTube, but it's not what was on Contact.

Ok - top five best Sesame Street numbers, in no particular order:

Aaron, I think you mean "The Bloodhound Gang". I think this is a clip! Pretty sweet stuff! I think this Bad-boy may be a full episode so we could be in luck!

Ok, Since we are talking about old shows from our early years- I am definitely going to date myself with this one. Anyone remember "The Midnight Special"? Accelerated from Sesame Street-yes, but definitely a throwback that deserves attention. How about the group on the vid? ONLY two reactions with these guys Ugh or Yeah! Sorry for the all caps Steve.

How about "Solid Gold"? I KNOW the guys remember this show! The gal has an amazingly "frisky" 'do!

Mark Avant (1985)

For a science show, 3-2-1 Contact! had a pretty good opening theme. It seems like it came along just as I was losing interest in PBS, am I wrong?
The Midnight Special! It's where I 1st saw music videos. And the whole reason to watch Solid Gold was the dancers. And unlike Solid Gold the acts really played on the Midnight Special. To wit.....

And speaking of frisky do's, check out Neil Schoen's (the guitarist)

WOW, you guys have been BUSY!!! Loved the martians from Sesame Street...and the Twiddlebugs. Becky, I also had a huge crush on Shaun Cassidy. I was gonna MARRY Shaun Cassidy. I pretended Shaun Cassidy was my boyfriend. *blushing* Used to kiss the album cover like a complete dork!!!

But, New Edition? I wanted to choke the life out of each and every one of them! LOL! Of course, I was a teenager then and was going through my Metal-Head phase.

Stacy Cunningham (Gilbert) (1989)

Oh yeah...Shaun Cassidy! He was my boyfriend too! Kissed the cover too...don't feel alone. To further incriminate...i made up a *dance* to That's Rock and Roll!! ( i remember somthing of a charades of the song being my dance! You know like strumming a guitar for "played at parties, played in bars" HAHA!)

Stacy, do you remember the jeans Pam had that had Shaun Cassidy's face
silk screened on the thigh? Oh and by the way, that's NOT rock and roll.

Stacy Cunningham (Gilbert) (1989)
