Chuck: You've got some prayers from here. Just tell him you love him and it will all work out fine!

Man that Lumberjack routine caught me totally off guard. Classic! Thanks for the advice. I will definitely follow it. Other friends have told me the same. Great reference to "Grumpy Old Men" Justin. I haven't watched that one in awhile. In fact, that is one of my mother's favorite movies!

LOL! Quote: "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of Elderberry!" Now go away! Or I will be forced to taunt you a second time!

"Of course I am not English! I am French, that is why I have this outrageous accent!"

"Go and tell your master that if he will give us food and shelter, he can join us on our quest for the Holy Grail."

"I will, but I don't think he will be keen, you see he already has one"

"He said that he's got one!"

(I told them that weve got one!)

"It's very nice!"

Did you dress her up like this?

NO! NO! NO! yes, yeah a bit.

What makes you think she's a witch?

Well, she turned me into a newt.

I actually found HOLY GRAIL on DVD at Brookshires last week for $10. Now if I can just locate the Life of Brian and Jabberwocky.

And as for the steak debate...I have to admit that I always go for the sirloin tips...medium well...with lots of mushrooms

And nothing rocks a salad like Bleu Cheese Dressing!

Makes me miss those days working the grill at the truck stop in Iowa just thinking about it.

Hey Chuck
I know what you are going through with your dad.
I was the middle child so my dad and I weren't all that close either, but the last 5 years or so of his life I was by my moms side as he got worse and worse.
Trust me don't let anything go unsaid or unfinished.
Though I was there mostly all the time, there were still things that did not get said and done.
Take the time to finish up any thing that needs to be done.
You will have comfort in knowing that you did.
I lost my dad in 2005 and still left lots to be said and done and regret that I never said the things that I should have to him.
God Bless and my prayers are with you and all your family.

Thanks Steve! That is great advice. Seems that when we share our burdens with others, we find out everyone has the same struggles or that which is near or even worse. Took me awhile to figure that out!

Chuck, very sorry to hear about your dad. I agree that it is best not to leave things unsaid. There's a great Contemporary Christian song that talks about that. My prayers are with you and your dad. My mom informed me of Doug's dad as well. Let's keep one another lifted up.

Well, guys and gals, I'm in East End for the time being. I brought my kiddos down to visit for Spring Break. Maybe I'll run into a few of you. Just please don't smack me too hard if you see me smoking...I have many big changes going on in my life right now.

Thanks Vickie. I will remember Doug and family in prayer as well.

Hey everyone, youtube has some great clips from Monty Python! I just watched the Black Knight! Classic stuff man.

"C'mon you pansy! Its just a flesh wound!"

Why didn't I post it? Duh...

Hey, it would probably be TOO BIG!

Ok, on a unrelated note. Tonight, I purchased some BBQ seasoning and blackening spices.

1. Durkee-Grill Creations, Steak seasoning
2. Zatarain's New Orleans Blackened Seasoning

David, the only Cavender's that I could find was "Greek Seasoning"-is there
something else?
Ok, so the goal is to become the "King" of the block with my grill. Now seeing that the Southern boys have the grill in command I need some help.
Ok, if you have a killer recipe email it to me at chuckschwartz@earthlink.net. I am copying the forum posts, which I am guessing is your favorite stuff, so don't bother with those. Anything more would be cool! Justin, that egg thing sounds cool, so I may be hitting you up for some blueprints. Anyway, have a killer Monday!

I think if you build Justin's egg, it would go well with your bench and thrift store sofa on your front porch. Very
feng shui.

Justin James (1986)

Mark what are you trying to say? the big brown egg will add the Sanford and Son look that is sweeping the country! and it fits in well with all the old cars that are on there rims!!

Mark Avant (1985)

No, no, the egg will add coolness that his neighbors will scramble to emulate. I mean how snobby can they be. They park a Dodge Charger at the curb.

Chuck, That is it. Greek seasoning. Good if you have a lamb problem in your neighborhood too. haha. The can is yellow with red writing. Unless you get the salt free (which I don't recommend)and then the can is blue.

I would just put my homemade egg on that workbench leaned up against the side of the house.

Feng Shui...nice. *snicker*
