Comments:

I met my husband Nathan in 1989 when he was stationed at the LRAFB. We married in 1990 (2 months before he left for Desert Storm). We lived in Indiana, where he is from, for 4 years, but the rest of our marriage we have lived in Central Arkansas. We now live in Chenal just past Joe T. Robinson.

Our two boys are WONDERFUL! Sam plays violin, bass guitar and is on the football team and Austin plays guitar. Both are into the arts. Austin is in the process of deciding on colleges.

School Story:

Jackie Standridge and I were standing in the middle of a crowd between classes and Mrs. Cook was walking toward us . She was wearing a red dress. Jackie yelled "HEY KOOL-AID!!" I thought I was going to DIE!!

Favorite Music:

Anything 80's rock (AC/DC concert was FABULOUS! And my boys LOVED it! They went to Van Halen without me, though...) Really, anything BUT country...My fave would have to be the blues...the older and more primitive, the better.

Last CD you bought:

Grady Champion Dreamin'

What one thing would you change if you could go back to high school?

Been more outgoing. It was VERY difficult to be dropped into a school as large as Sheridan in April of my 8th grade year. Fear kept me from trying a LOT of things I wanted to try.

Who gave you your first kiss?

A guy named Rodney. I had just turned 13 and still lived in Louisiana.

What advice would you give to high school seniors today?

Enjoy yourself, but remember, you don't need to impress the people you are with. You won't see 95% of them after high school. It doesn't matter what they think of you, but what you think of yourself.
