I've been meaning to get on here all week and let everyone know to keep Chris Paty in your prayers. He had a bad fall at work last Friday and broke his leg in 3 places, I believe he told me. He was in the hospital all weekend. He'll be in a cast for a while.

Hopefully he will get on here. I told Jeremy Hignight's wife to get him on here too. I talked to Shawn Ward yesterday and he doesn't have a computer at home.

Mandy Stewart (Skinner) Missy - if you get to come down for Oaklawn holler at me before you go back home. I can't go, Jason has ball practice at noon and Allen is working 12 hour days - 14 days on 2 off - so we haven't seen him much and don't know when his next day off is - but everyone have fun!

I called Laith the other day and told him I would call him back and get his address (as he doesn't get on the computer) and I failed to store his phone number in my cell. Someone in Sheridan please call him and get his address and forward it to Carrie or Courtney. His tree service signs are around Sheridan. That is how I got the number.

Mandy, the plan right now is to meet up AT Oaklawn. Don't let the rain keep you from going. There are plenty of places inside to hang out and watch the races. Besides, we're the freaking class of 89! We graduated in the middle of a tropical storm. A little rain shouldn't phase us. From what I heard, any rain should pass in the morning anyway.

Mandy, I am sooo upset about not being able to make it this weekend, yet I am happy at the same time. I FINALLY found and rented a 4 bedroom house here. I am moving this weekend and next weekend and the money I saved up for my trip to Arkansas I had to spend on deposits and some new furniture. I am sooo sorry! I soooo wanted to go. But you know Morgan and Jacob has had to share a room and sleep in bunk beds for a year now since we moved here. They are sooo excited, and I am to for them! I REALLY wanted to go this weekend. I WILL be at the reunion in September for sure. And who knows, maybe I will be able to save up and come down before that.

We might not make it for the first race (he has to work for a while tomorrow morning), but we'll be there at some point! Unfortunately, not many showed. Several people had to cancel for various reasons- kids games, wisdom teeth, work, etc.

It was still fun for those that did show- me, Neal Moon, Deana Brown Priest, Curtis McElyea, Charles Butler, Chris Campbell and Scott Taylor. Can't say who won or lost the most but I do know I left with more than I walked in with and at one point, Chris said he was about to go search for an ATM. LOL!

Maybe we can try again on Derby day. It's April 11.
