Wish we could get more people to post their information and get reconnected... and plan on coming to the 30th! That would be really nice....so if anyone knows any M.I.A.'s - give em a nudge if you would please.

I wanted to add that as I was going through the memoriam...I could not help but to reminisce about the times I enjoyed with these passing "friends" and classmates...1st up..Bart Beck...I remember in 3rd grade in taylor school I picked a fight with Bart only to get my clock cleaned by his sister Gina I was so embarrased by this I cried all through the next class.."BIG TOUGH GUY",I was..lol..anyway Bart,Gina and I became good friends through the next few years...next up...Randy Feaster..Randy , my twin brother Jerry and I used to hang out early as kids as we would wait at Randys house until coffeen school opened(pre Taylor school and post)...our favorite place to "fight" other ornery kids was across the street from Randys house ...the fights did not really last to long..a few taunting words to get the "OLE" nerve up and a couple misplaced body shots usually did the trick...the point to all this was not to bring up the negative but what came out of it...long standing friendships which have stood even the test of the "Times"we are given...if you have some stories to share, I.. we .. would love to hear them i`m SURE..Mark..Kelley..Laura..Bart...Randy..Russell...Stacey...David..and ALL the ones I have not mentioned here..you are sorely missed ..our generation made what Sheridan was all about "Then.."...and hopefully we can still carry on the tradition of our generation for some time to come...I miss "YOU"...ALL of"YOU"...alive and passed...please drop a line or two here or in your profiles...this is OUR reunion so lets own it ...and embrace the idea what a "reunion" is all about...its the time we share with one another to catch up on what we have missed..and to RE-establish old bonds that were misplaced for a time and most important to pay tribute to those who have moved on from the physical to the spiritual...please write ...you were raised a "Sheridanite"...you will always be a "Sheridanite....Peace LJ

Hey everyone -

If you are like me - you are shocked that it is almost the end of June - you haven't lost the weight you wanted to - and our reunion is just around the corner. :)

If you know how to reach people that have not yet signed up to attend - take a minute to try to contact them.  Time is running out and Julie needs to be turning in numbers.  There will be nice  people there, the prices are very affordable, and we will be in beautiful places in even more beautiful Sheridan, WYO. It should be a great time!  If you can do anything to help round up people and get them motivated to attend - please do it right away.

The more people the better - I wish we could get every last person in our class there.   Sign up quickly to avoid a call from me!

Thanks Sandy, does anybody know how to get a hold of Fred Fitchner and Donny Brantz?  They both rsvp'd to the reunion on Classmates.com, I cannot respond to them to redirect them to our official Class website.  Classmates.com is not user friendly at all.  If anyone knows their contact info can you let them know about www.sheridanwyoming1980.com, so they can register online.

Thanks,  D

Hey Darcee -

My mom knows Fred's mom so I'll have her try to reach her today to pass the website along to Fred.

Keely Heath (Ziegler (Class Of 1979))

I just wanted to tell the Class of '80 to have a GREAT 30th reunion!!   Having had ours a year ago ('79) I can tell you as being part of the planning committee it was the absolute best time and well worth all the hard work!!  We put in countless hours of research.

If any of you would like to be a guest on '79's site, please e-mail me (keelyzee) (at) (AOL) (dot) (com).  www.SheridanWyoming1979.com

Cheers to Darcee, Julie and all the rest of 1980's committee and I look forward to the pics of your 30th bash!!

Is anyone up for a combined reunion with the Classes of 1978 and 1979 at some point in the future????  I know this idea was tossed around some at our own reunion.

----Keely (Heath) Ziegler

I'm also sorry to miss the reunion this year.  I've managed to make it to all of them until now, so I'm especially sorry to miss this chance.  Probably the biggest reason we are missing the trip to Sheridan this year is that we are in the middle of adopting a 10-year-old boy from China; he will be our second China adoption and our fourth child.  International adoption tends to take quite a bit of your spare time (paperwork) and even more of your money!  Hope to make it back to Sheridan next summer for my folk's 50th anniversary.

We've lived in Rochester, Minnesota for nine years now, eight of those years I've been a secretary at the church where we worship.  My husband of 23 years, Glenn, works in the cardiac surgery unit as a PA-C at the Mayo Clinic.  He is a great husband and a terrific dad.

Anne, our eldest, will head off the college in a few weeks to study graphic design.  She's my first to leave the nest and I'm dealing with all those mixed feelings!  We have a son, Aaron, about to turn 12 and will start sixth grade this fall.  Abby, our 9-year-old and first child adopted from China, is excited at the prospect of being a 4th grader soon.

Guess I can't think of anything else to add here except some contact info: medtary@gmail.com

I'm also on Facebook and it's been really fun to catch up with friends even as far back as 4th at Coffeen Elementary.  (Diana, Sonya, Patti, Donna, Holly)

I hope to start a blog about our adoption sometime really soon, so if you're interested in our trip, to adopt Xiao Bei, let me know and I'll send you the blog address.

Hope you all have a wonderful time catching up with (old) friends from (gulp) 30 years ago.  May you have fine weather for your time together and enjoy each other's company.  God bless!

Keeley, I think it would be fabulous for the classes of 78, 79 and 80 to do a combined reunion. Over half of the people I hung out with in HS were from the class of 78.  It would be so much fun to see those friends from the past!!  Hello to all and see those of you coming to the reunion in a few short days.  Deb (Lobach) French

Just want to say how much I enjoyed seeing those who attended the reunion!  Some of you I honestly haven't seen for 30 years...and you all looked maHvelous!! :) Thank you, thank you, to those who worked so hard to organize and locate class members - Darcee, this site is awesome - and Julie, you are the woman for the job!!  It was a great weekend, and so nice to be surrounded by those who had such an impact in my life, early on.  You're all great!

Don't know why but the reunion wasn't on my radar--sorry I missed the chance to catch up with fellow classmates!  Although I currently live full time in Florida, I have been back to the Sheridan area on a somewhat regular basis--my dad still lives in Story.  Love looking at the pictures you all have shared!  Looking forward to the next reunion...and mine would be a yes vote for one combined with the couple years before and maybe even after our graduation...

My thoughts and well wishes are with Alan Wilson and his family.  He has a beautiful family to get  him through this difficult time.

Dana...... you have an amazing attitude that will get you through this what will soon be a memory.  We are all thinking of you.

Lori...you are in the homestretch as you call it "the bump in the road", thank you for keeping us updated as you near recovery.  Makes me appreciate friends and family........:-)

Just realized the other day that this year is our 35th Class Reunion and remembered we had this wonderful website to go to get all the details. I am really hoping that it will work out for us to be able to get back to the beautiful Wyoming mountain area and catch up with all of you who can attend the reunion. Also hoping it will take place over rodeo weekend again since we had to miss the last one. I think the last time we were at a rodeo was 20 years ago.
