Tary Yeager (Medberry)
I'm also sorry to miss the reunion this year. I've managed to make it to all of them until now, so I'm especially sorry to miss this chance. Probably the biggest reason we are missing the trip to Sheridan this year is that we are in the middle of adopting a 10-year-old boy from China; he will be our second China adoption and our fourth child. International adoption tends to take quite a bit of your spare time (paperwork) and even more of your money! Hope to make it back to Sheridan next summer for my folk's 50th anniversary.
We've lived in Rochester, Minnesota for nine years now, eight of those years I've been a secretary at the church where we worship. My husband of 23 years, Glenn, works in the cardiac surgery unit as a PA-C at the Mayo Clinic. He is a great husband and a terrific dad.
Anne, our eldest, will head off the college in a few weeks to study graphic design. She's my first to leave the nest and I'm dealing with all those mixed feelings! We have a son, Aaron, about to turn 12 and will start sixth grade this fall. Abby, our 9-year-old and first child adopted from China, is excited at the prospect of being a 4th grader soon.
Guess I can't think of anything else to add here except some contact info: medtary@gmail.com
I'm also on Facebook and it's been really fun to catch up with friends even as far back as 4th at Coffeen Elementary. (Diana, Sonya, Patti, Donna, Holly)
I hope to start a blog about our adoption sometime really soon, so if you're interested in our trip, to adopt Xiao Bei, let me know and I'll send you the blog address.
Hope you all have a wonderful time catching up with (old) friends from (gulp) 30 years ago. May you have fine weather for your time together and enjoy each other's company. God bless!
