( August 12, 1949 - August 25, 2021 )

Billy Bradshaw, 72, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 25, 2021, peacefully at his home in Sherman. 

For over 51 years, Linda Bradshaw was his loving, supportive, and caring wife. He is survived by his wife Linda, mother Joan Rowe, daughter April and husband Judd Joie, daughter Kimberly and husband Ryan Cassell, grandchildren Lauren and husband Robert Cowden, Emily Joie, and Camilla Cassell. 

Billy was born on August 12, 1949 in Sherman, Texas to Joan and the late Billy Bradshaw Sr. He graduated from Sherman High School in 1968. He served four years in the United States Air Force while stationed at Laughlin AFB. Upon their return to Sherman in 1973, Billy owned and operated Bradshaw’s Paint and Body for ten years. After selling the paint and body shop, he was employed by Plyler Construction. He retired from Plyler as a Project Manager in 2010. 

Throughout his life he had many hobbies which included camping & boating, hunting, fishing, motorcycles, leatherwork, and gardening. He loved the beach, a good western, and the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an amazing husband, son, father, grandfather, and friend. He was selfless, caring, supportive, friendly, thoughtful, loving, kind-hearted, devoted, gentle, and generous. He always had a way of using his witty and silly sense of humor to make others happy and laugh. His unforgettable presence in our lives was a true blessing and he will forever live in our hearts.

Billy is preceded in death by his father Billy Bradshaw Sr. and sister Brenda Casstevens.

A Rosary will be held Tuesday, August 31st from 5:30-6:00 pm with a family night to follow until 7:00 pm at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 1st at 10:00 am at Waldo Funeral Home. The family requests that masks be worn if attending.
